There is only one heating core inside the FTSCABLE solid heating cable . During electrical installation, both ends of the heating cable must be connected to a power source. After connecting the heating cable to the power source, the heating cable heats up and operates at a temperature of 40°C to 65°C.
Principle of operation
Inner core heating cableconsists of cold and hot wire. The outer core consists of an insulating layer, a grounding layer, a shielding layer and an outer sheath. After power is applied to the heating cable, the hot wire heats up and reaches a temperature of 40 to 65 degrees Celsius. The heating cable embedded in the filler layer transfers thermal energy by conduction (convection) and emits far infrared radiation of 8-13 microns.
